What should I trade in my regular DS in for?

My choice is either to trade in a regular DS in for a DS Lite or a DSi? I can’t decide. PLEASE HELP!

If you have enough money go for the DSi. if not, the regular DS would also be a good choice. I have a DSi myself, as you know.

A Nintendo DS Lite is fantastic and has much better graphics than the regular Nintendo DS. The DSi is a replica of the Nintendo DS Lite, however it has a new function: a camera.
The camera comes with three more applications other than PictoChat and you regular game application – Video, Photos and Sound Recording. The Welcome Screen also looks different and its a larger screen.
On the Nintendo DSi, while using PictoChat you can not only write in black, but in rainbow too.
It depends how much you want to spend whether you get a DS Lite or a DSi.
